We believe every girl carries strength within her — our mission is to help her discover it.
The Girls Home of Little Flower Mercy Home Welfare Association, established in 2003, has been a beacon of hope for orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk girls, particularly those from economically disadvantaged and tribal backgrounds. Functioning as a registered Child Care Institution under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and with the approval of the Orphanage Control Board, the Home operates under the supervision and legal authority of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). All admissions are carried out through proper legal procedures based on the recommendation and orders of the Chairman of the CWC, ensuring that every child’s rights, safety, and dignity are fully protected. Initially focused on supporting children from financially backward families, the institution has evolved in alignment with JJ Act guidelines into a holistic learning and rehabilitation center. The Girls Home provides safe residential care, quality education from Class 1 to Plus Two, uniforms and study materials, nutritious meals, healthcare services, counseling, life-skill education, and vocational and skill-development training, with a unique emphasis on fashion designing and creative development. With a strong focus on dignity, protection, and empowerment, the Home not only provides education but also nurtures confidence, creativity, and personal growth, preparing each girl for responsible, independent, and successful living.
